Dalecarlia is the quintessential Swedish midsummer. Maypoles erected in midsummer in almost every village. Many music and festivities. The biggest celebrations on Midsummer Eve is in Sammilsdal in Leksand for 20,000 people.

Genuine three-day medieval market in May at Leksand homesteads with many vendors, performances and jousting.
